Michelli's Pizzeria - West Melbourne

Ordered a pie tonight October 21, 2023. Was one of the best pizzas I’ve had since I’ve been in Florida. It was cooked to perfection. Also had the chicken parm with Alfredo on the pasta and let me say that Alfredo was out of this world! The girls at the counter were so kind and helpful. Looks like they are bringing back the dine in experience which I’m super excited for. If you’ve tried all the rest now try the best! I can’t believe it’s taken so long for me to find this hidden gem!!!

Well I read the very views on their website you cannot put a review on their website so I came here to Google Maps Their review says not floppy or greasy pizza Which is a complete falsehood My son purchased a pizza from them at around 8:30 PM Saturday evening October 21st The pizza did not have a good look to it for the cheese was the wrong mixture number one not much mozzarella if any Number 2 there was some Italian seasonings through the pizza that was amazingly rancid Unluckily I was given a piece of this pizza by my son After one bite I could not swallow it and had to spit it out on the plate next to my slice of pizza at the same time my son was on the phone with some girl At which time she spoke with the owner/manager chef She told my son we were frequent fliers and that she is glad to give us a free pizza Which would be great if they could deliver it tonight because we didn't get any dinner tonight Unfortunately we have to trust them to go get another pizza some other night and hopefully get a good one I don't think it's worth the risk I told my son that after covid that restaurant was never the same you used to be able to sit down there and get a good pizza Now not so great Other restaurants that weren't as good as Michelle's a few years ago now are better than them ironically I don't use Michelle's anymore My son I believe is going to listen to me next time

Used to be the best around the area but some bad changes happened over a year ago now in their processes. Good quality ingredients and unlike most, usually enough cheese and sauce. Unfortunately they just always undercook the pizza, very doughy in the middle and usually wet with too much liquid from the sauce, too watery. Not sure if its just under cooked or watery sauce or a little of both. Also, when this started happening the crust where it is cooked more around the outside is tough and chewy and the sauce lacks flavor. Too bad, we kept trying multiple times but this is consistently what you get for over a year now. May be a poor management decision to try and deal with their overwhelming demand and lack of staff with crazy long delivery and even pickup times. Prices are much higher compared to others too, which we didn't mind back when the sauce was thicker with flavor and the pizzas got cooked all the way. Hopefully the owner will actually address this for real. If they do, we'll try again as it really used to be much better than the other places here.
