Burly's California Bistro

Great food and attentive service. A little pricey for my pocket book, but worth it for special occasions.

Food was delicious!! The wait staff was very friendly, they were there when you needed them but I never felt rushed or interrupted while enjoying time with my family. The atmosphere is laid back, with hometown vibe. The brownie with ice cream on top was phenomenal and fresh.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot had a small slope to it that made me a little nervous for my mom, but she said it was fine.

We Love this place. The food and drinks are delicious. The staff are all friendly and make us feel at home. We like to sit in the bar area and watch sports. It is off the street and a little hidden back in the parking lot so most of their business is from word of mouth.

Food was excellent! Service was good UNTIL presented with check, and with no warning, the gratuity of 25% was automatically added because we asked that the check be split between two couples. When asked they blamed their computer program and said it was disclosed, I'm sure in small writing, on the menu. Just not a very nice way to treat customers. Probably won't go back.

Food Amazing Service Outstanding Ambiance A+Wanted to try a new restaurant for my wife's birthday and took a short drive here to Burly's. They greeted us as soon as we got there and complemented on my beautiful family of 4. We sat and noticed the place was decorated with nothing but local staples of Modesto. That was awesome! The food, drinks and service and was great but I'd like for you to check it out yourself.
