Huckleberry's Breakfast Lunch

I usually really enjoy my breakfast at Huckleberry's but this time wasn't great. I tend to substitute certain things that upset my stomach. I was told there was no substitutions allowed (has never been an issue before, even at this location) Not a big deal, I'll give the item to someone else. Waitress then comes out to tell me they don't even have that item and that I am allowed to substitute afterall. She was very firm about the no substitutions and then changed her mind. The food was warm at best. The waitress barely checked in with us but kept checking in on a group two tables down whom she seemed to know. My mom tried to get a soft drink refill (they've always offered refills for the drink at no extra cost) and was told that she would have to pay for another drink if she wanted a refill. Overall, wasn't a great experience.

Eggs Benedict were overcooked, barely any hollandaise

This place is so welcoming the staff are so polite and helpful always a on it offering more coffee and what else we need thanks to the waitress Kathy and of course all the staff too.

Staff are well trained and friendly. The restaurant is clean and inviting with a fun Cajun theme decor. Food is delicious with very generous portions. A favorite spot for breakfast. I highly recommend the Friend Green Tomatoes and the Crabcakes Benedict. Bring a friend because portions are very filling, and you can easily share a meal. Also if your pal is the designated driver then you can enjoy a deliciously spicy ****** Mary complete with a pick holding a crispy strip of bacon, green olive, and celery while they sip on Latte or vice versa if you are driving. Both are yumming and warming in their own way. See you there.
