Subway - West Monroe

It’s alright. I mainly go there when I’m low on funds and only have my EBT card.

I had a sandwich from there this afternoon, and it was poorly prepared. The bread wasn't toasted, and the tuna-like filling was just a half scoop spread on lightly. When I took a bite, I noticed that the mayo had gone bad! I tried calling to speak with a manager before they closed, but the phone just kept ringing. I assume they stopped answering because it was only five minutes until closing time.

The sandwiches are always made perfectly, but it would be nice to see a few more smiles and a little less attitude from the staff. This is the second time I've visited and noticed a baby roach crawling on my side of the counter. I managed to forget about it the first time, but it came back to me quickly. I mentioned it to the staff, but they acted as if I hadn't said anything at all. I won’t be making the mistake of returning. Unfortunately, the one near the Circle K isn't any better when it comes to attitudes either.

I’m really enjoying being 7 months pregnant and craving a Subway sandwich. My go-to order is the Italian BMT with sweet onion dressing, fresh spinach, tomatoes (seasoned with salt and pepper), two banana peppers, and two black olives. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I really appreciated their setup. The staff were friendly, and one of them encouraged us to try the seasonal cranberry sauce, which turned out to be quite good. I personally enjoyed it. The place was also very clean.
