It frequently has fruit flies buzzing around it and is crusty with age. They no longer carry many of the items I used to be able to buy there and the staff is frequently unpleasant and even rude. I usually drive out of the way to go elsewhere or just get whatever I can at the supermarket and then stock up at the local health food store.
I have gone to this location In West Orange, NJ a number of years. Considering the pandemic I know that for months there was difficulty keeping up with demand. Now some 6 months later, shelves are not stocked, the staff at this location is rude and it is no longer I good shopping experience. I have been going to this store for the last 3 weeks and they have no butter on the shelves and none of the store brand sodas. When I went to the courtesy counter to inquire, I found the person there to be quite rude. I asked to speak to the manager on site and they would not even come out to speak with me. When I think of it, I spend a good amount of money weekly at this store. I’m going to have to rethink this. Hey Whole Foods, customer service is what keeps you in business!!!
It worked, of course. they had a very nioce selection as do most WF. But it seemed like a bad parking lot. It seemed a bit small and unfriendly. It worked though and I would go back there when back in town.
As an Amazon contractor, I was encouraged to start reviewing Whole Foods recently. I must say, I am impressed. Today, all the employees were extremely helpful to me. The food I selected was prepared well, delicious, and definitely a healthier option compared to typical franchise restaurants. I want to give a special thanks to Bernard for helping me choose the oysters. Thank you for the excellent service!
I prefer shopping at Whole Foods for their high-quality products, excellent fish department, delicious bakery items, and ready-to-eat options. I was able to find everything I needed there. However, I find their prices to be too high. Upon entering the store, I saw a display of cherries priced at $7.50 per pound. I wanted to buy them, but when I weighed the bag, it was 2 1/2 pounds for $20! I love cherries, but not at that price. Ever since Jeff Bezos bought Whole Foods, it seems the prices have only gotten higher.
