Madeira Fish - West Oxfordshire

This fish and chip shop is absolutely excellent. fish is always fresh with crispy teig, chips big, never greasy or soggy. best chip shop for miles round.

I have purchased fish and chips from this shop several times since it was taken over by the current owners and have always been satisfied. Since we have to travel a few miles to get there, being able to call ahead and place an order in advance is very convenient. We usually order the haddock, which is delicious and made fresh to order. The friendly service makes the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place.

If I have a chip tea on one of my regular trips to witney, they always come here. other tries, but this is the best for me. beautiful fish and chips, generous portions (and I am a greedy northern,) fair prices and always pleasant, friendly...service from the young couple that runs it. top drawer!

This friendly young couple is trying hard to improve the quality of this fish and chip shop after the previous owners have returned to home and unfortunately have quality and hygiene slip. I have found them helpful, portioning reasonable and fair prices .

Bought Large cod and chips today, small bit of fish surrounded by a large slab of batter, I suspect it had been re-fried from lunch time as what fish there was, was very dry, the chips also appeared to have been reheated. Very poor, I...will not be back.
