Very friendly staff. Felt like home from home. Good value for money . Dog friendly and a choice of great board games . Good fu all round .

Anita the new landlady and their family gave us a lovely warm welcome for a couple of pints Sunday. Having not been much of a regular I did noticed the improved decor, cleanliness and furniture. Great selection of beers and ales, the Guinness was perfection, so much so ‘the quick pint’ turned into 4. Welcoming me and my dad, and my four legged friend we will certainly be back as regulars.

Dropped in for a drink then had a surprising excellent Sunday lunch. They had a butternut and beetroot wellington too for veggies . New patrons trying very hard . We will be back forgot to take a photo , next time !!!

Dropped in for the steak night having booked a table. Warm welcome from the host of the ‘village pub’. Meals were prepared to a high standard representing great value. If I lived in the locality, this would certainly be ‘ my local’ well recommended

Went last night and had an excellent meal and well priced, staff were helpful and social distancing was followed.
