Our server, jonathan, was over the menu and thrilled by its cook and its ability to make a delicious meal. he led us through some (new to us) choices (the Turkish mezze plate was filled with taste and it was no problem for us to order double crudite) and we were not disappointed! the kitchen is with Mediterranean influences, many beautiful citrus fruits, juicy olives and wonderful spices. tried the lemony/grey garnelen tapas and it was a favorit. the salt baked branzino is a must try! I would not hesitate to recommend this little hidden gem to anyone looking for a casual but tasty eating.
This restaurant is beautiful with a beautiful ambiente. the food was fresh and delicious. my only complaint was that it took some time until a server took our orders as soon as we set ourselves. will definitely return.
Very expensive for the quality and everything including the brotes was ala carte.
Costa is a gem, waiting to be discovered! I read Liz Balmaseda’s review in the Palm Beach Post sometime ago. She mentioned that this restaurant is hard to find. We decided that it was one of the very best dining experiences we have had in the last five years. And it is really not hard to find, just not visible from the street. It is located on Worth Avenue, across the street from Neiman Marcus, on the second floor of a via or interior section. Parking is free in the garage that is very close. Or, street parking is also ideal and easy to find if you go for dinner. The decor is fresh and reminds one of a beautiful spot on a Greek isle. It is clean and inviting, all blues and white. The restaurant is spacious and simply appointed. Every item we ordered, from the appetizer and salad, to the main courses and dessert, were beautifully and tastefully prepared. If we had to pick one adjective to describe the food, it would be fresh. But of course we could not just choose one adjective, and would have to add delicious and innovative as well. Menu has French, Spanish, and Greek influences. Liz recommended the branzino and that is what I ordered. It is cooked in salt, brought to the table to be viewed after baking, and then filleted expertly. My husband had the duck breast, which is so much tastier and more European than a half duck with all the bones. We had an appetizer consisting of three dips for homemade naan bread. The dips were baba ganoush, homemade hummus, and another Greek item with a yogurt base. Salad was perfection with ingredients that complemented each other, and a dusting of dressing that was delicious. Oh, and the bar produced perfect cocktails that were innovative and appropriately full of the requisite liquor. We find that many cocktails skimp on the liquor in other restaurants. Not that these were strong, just perfectly proportioned. We love The Regional restaurant, Buccan, Cafe Chardonnay, but we have found a new favorite.
