Nick's Tomato Pie - West Palm Beach

I travel a lot and I am here every other week for a veggie flatbread and a glass of wine. Marc and Lenore are amazing. They treat the customers like family. Bonus the bar has outlets for charging electronics.

The waiter/bartender Lorenzo was amazing. He was courteous, attentive, polite and friendly. He is definitely an asset to this establishment. Being in an airport and dealing with passengers and people being in a rush or bad mood this man was on top of it all. And the two pies we got, nicks supreme and regular were both delicious and came out hot and on time.

A group of 6 of us popped in for a beer and some pizza before our flight home, and Lenore had us laughing and provided great service. We ordered through the QR code, and we received our drinks and pizzas shortly after. The food was pretty good for airport thin crust pizza. It was easy to order and pay on our phone, and we didn't need to flag anyone down. Our flight had a short delay, so we even popped back in for one last quick drink.

The most important thing to consider here is that we're talking about airport food. You can't expect, and won't get, a meal that's in any way comparable to an actual pizzeria. That said, Nick's comes quite close to that. The food isn't bad, on the contrary, it's remarkably homely. It's not fancy, or even memorable by itself, but the excellent service and warm food makes for a great combo while you wait for your flight. Coupled with a chilled beer, it makes for a great stay. Great for the kids and for the grownups with pizza that's leagues above fast food and into passable territory.

Gotta admit, for an airport pizza joint, was pleasantly surprised! Not sure about all the other negative reviews (but some photos suggest this place has been completely remodeled recently and maybe new management as well). We ordered 3 pies and they were very good! Our waitress was super attentive. Drinks were good too! If you're stuck at the airport (or delayed 5 hours like we were), this is a great place to grab some food and kill some time.
