We recently ate here for the first time and had a great experience. The food was delicious and fairly priced. I was SO impressed by the young men working they were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. We will be back!

Burnt ends had so much liquid, it was basically beef soup. Mac cheese was definitely frozen in a bag. Brisket tasted like soggy beef jerky. While staff are pleasant, food is not great. Embarrassed to say Famous Daves has better quality BBQ. Absolutely not worth $50 for the two of us. Will not be returning.

INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE PROFESSIONAL! MUST USE FOR CATERING! We worked with the Big Boar BBQ’s team to plan catering for an upcoming event in Black River Falls. We live out of state and received numerous recommendations for Big Boar BBQ they are living up to and exceeding each one! Our first contact was with Denys (pronounced Denise) she was fabulous! I cannot emphasize this enough! She is an outstanding communicator and thorough event planner we immediately felt comfortable with their experience! She helped us arrange a meeting/tasting when we came in town. Again, they understand the client better than any other! Quinn helped us that evening and the presentation service were outstanding! Other caterers should take notice follow Big Boar’s example because it truly was an outstanding experience! And then their food blows you away truly exceptional! I wish we lived nearby so we could use them for all parties events! The only heads up is that everything is priced al a carte. We were surprised at first, then realized the benefit of transparent pricing with the ability to create a menu that exactly matches your needs requirements! Ingenious.
