Much better then the ratings, had cheesy chips with a drink, all tasted perfect and the drink was cold for a change

Nice size fish. Lacking in spice though. Chips needed more salt and vinegar. No chip forks though. Ok but not outstanding

There's a lot of mixed reviews here and this wasn't our first choice but the only other chippy was shut due to technical difficulties so we gave it a go. All portion sizes were pretty good. The fish was neither over nor under cooked but the batter was slightly soggy. Chips were OK. Curry sauce was good. The mushy peas were grey and the only flavour they had was metallic. Overall this was OK but would not have the peas again.

I have to agree on the less positive reviews on this chippy.Tried it out today for a lunch takeaway and can confirm the chips were just edible being greasy, the fish on the other hand was delicious having a lovely crispy batter.The staff were courteous but not friendly which is a shame for a customer service role.Would I eat from here again I would hand on heart say no .

We had a fancy for fish and chips so sent hubby off to Watchet. Never again, the fish was over cooked and the chips tasted rank and some were raw inside. How can you get it so wrong. The chips were brown but raw inside put them in air fryer to finish off but no they still tasted tank perhaps the oil was old.
