The lady didn’t have many options on display although she was keen to suggest something I could have. I ended up ordering Linda McCartney sausages and salad in a baguette. They use Flora and the bread is fine too. She also said she used Vegan Quorn as she was making suggestions for other options. I would have had total faith that anything offered would be lovely and SFV. The baguette was super tasty and filling.
Centrally located in this small seaside village it was a surprise to find a vegan breakfast and more at this bright, airy cafe. New owners looking to offer more choices but right now you can choose some lunch options of avocado on toast, toasted teacake with vegan spread, soup plus I asked for a mushroom baguette which was huge and delicious. They are so friendly and open to suggestions and requests. Good value and open every day except Tuesday
Found this cafe on a hot day and were welcomed in with our dog. Service was friendly and fast. Happy to provide water for our dog too. Quaint little place and the facilities were spotless. Will be back to try out the craft/painting side of the cafe soon with my daughters.
The innovative café now has a separate tea room located next door. I recently visited and had a delightful experience, with the option to enjoy beans or eggs on toast along with delicious cakes! Definitely recommended for a visit.
After leaving the other cafe, we walked past the Corner House again and saw that it was still empty. We walked around Watchet for an hour, passed by the Corner House once more, and it was still empty. Although they offer a takeaway service next door, it's not very helpful when you want to sit down or escape the cold for a hot drink. I would recommend avoiding this place if you're looking for a traditional cafe experience.
