Fusion on Swan - WEST SWAN

Came here with a voucher. I asked for an extra hot coffee and it was perfect. Steaming hot, smooth blend, nothing to fault. Breakfast was good, but nothing spectacular. Very clean cafe. Will be back and yes I would recommend to friends and family.

I bought 2 coupons for a total of four people but only 3 people could come. Still didn't mind paying the extra. We were there just after opening and the guy was lighting the fire. It was very cold inside and didn't help that the metal chairs had no cushions. Very cold! Another couple were making a fuss about it but nothing was forthcoming. The fire guy was also the waiter and he was very pleasant and unobtrusive. My husband and I ordered the big breakfast with poached eggs. There seemed to be an excess of liquid on my plate when it arrived. Not looking exciting but tasted ok. The bread was white toast which should have gone in the bin. Why can't cafes supply whole grain? My friend ordered poached eggs on toast which looked a bit sickly when they arrived. No green garnish to make it look nice . Coffee was pretty weak so I asked for a stronger second cup as did my friend. Not much better. Then when leaving I was asked to pay $5.50 for extra coffee! Really? Even though we only had three meals, not four? We won't be back.

Have dined here a number of occasions, each time different experience.On this occasion it was for lunch, the meal itself was fine, other then the plates were cold, and the food went cold sooner than it should have done.Service was on this occasion was poor. After being shown to our table, water and cutlery was slow to come. The location is also in the Entertainment Book,

Food was very nice. Very old world charm. Good location. We didn't wait long for service and reasonable prices.

Spent a very enjoyable time here for breakfast. The place is lovely with high ceilings and wooden floors. Very nice with a wood fire in the middle of the cottage. The service was friendly and I found it relaxing as there isn't a rush but truely want to provide you good old fashion service. I had the big breakfast for $20 and it was well worth it, the poached eggs were perfect. My daughter had eggs benedict and my son had the pan cakes. There were no complaints and look great. Well worth a visit but don't rush as in the country life is relaxing.
