The family and I were visiting Vancouver from Toronto, and decided to stop by after a day of sightseeing in West Vancouver. We had a horrible experience at a large downtown restaurant and decided to try a smaller locale for lunch. The food and service exceeded our expectations! The wings were great, and our main meals were delicious. My classic burger (no mayo, cheese added) was fresh, homemade and perfectly spiced just as my hubby makes them! My teen son had the ribs and enjoyed them immensely. My hubby also enjoyed his entree salad. Our server was very prompt and friendly. It was an overall relaxing and filling meal. Highly recommend, especially if you want to get away from the tourist traps.
As locals to PM, we often find ourselves enjoying dinner, the regular menu is fairly extensive, both major meals and easy bar/fair. Service is friendly attentive, Comfortable, environment. Live Entertainment Saturday, 6:00~9:00pm. Our favorite.
Disappointed in both quantity and quality. Add to in no customer service and we won’t be back. My wife and I order from pastameli typically once a month. Always a full order of veggie and meat lasagna. Saturday we did the same, upon opening the containers they were clearly 1/2 sized. Particularly the veggie. Mistakes happen so we tried to contact them to see if they would fix the order. To say we have no acknowledgement or response. At $24 per it was a pretty poor meal. As someone who has ordered the same many times in the past it was clear either they have pulled back on portions or just don’t care we paid for a full and received a 1/2. I always give a business the benefit of doubt to correct an error before I review. Since I’m being ignored I am therefore publicly reviewing. If you look at my pic you’ll not cheese bleed over but not much of a meal.
Gruesomely overpriced for the quality AND quantity of food served from the menu. Tortellini were decent, but the so called whole portion should definitely be larger than fitting into the palm of my hand for $22 price tag (for take-out). Potentially decent pesto chicken pasta was dominated by overflowing amount of olive oil and due to that became inedible. Pizzas displayed in the window were unmarked (that shouldn 't be too much of a task, specially that most of the traffic these days is walk-in) and we had to ask for the clarification of the ingredients for most of them, that had veggies and/or various meats on them. We asked for a cajun-chicken one, which was the last slice on the tray, and got one with corn and bacon only! Nothing like what we saw in the window when ordering. With the tip the bill ended up to $77 for two miserable portions of pasta, 4 slices (2 per portion) of pizza and 3 bottles of flavoured sparkling water. I 've been to NYC many times, ate well and not so much, but this name puts a stain on anything New York. Sorry, this customer and two other people who ate with me will not be returning customers, although we live and hike in the area.
