Feedback gevenI really want to like this place but everytime I get coffee it’s really inconsistent. The majority of the time the coffee taste burnt. I think their baristas need more training. I went today and it had the strangest burnt aftertaste. I also think they should use another bean for their espresso ive bought their more expensive beans and they taste better than what they serve over counter. I've been going here semi-regularly since I moved out here. This coffee shop is quaint and roasts its own beans (which as a coffee-lover, I enjoy . They support many local companies which is also a give draw for me. (The coffee scented soaps are quite nice too. Edit: Sadly, I have moved out of West Virginia since writting this; however, I highly recommend this place still! Miss you!
I come here often for remote work and the staff is very kind. Most already know my regular order. The coffee is some of the best I’ve had too! They don’t mind if you come here to study or do work, and the layout is perfect for that with many tables and outlets for laptops. Will continue to visit through winter!
I Absolutely Love Black Dog Coffee. Everything About This Company Is Wonderful.. I Wish They Would Have A Black Friday Sale On Everything. It Would Be Awesome.
The beans sold for retail at this location taste ashen, like they were roasted improperly. You're still better off buying the beans though because Black Dog's beans require more rest than most roasteries' beans because they're very high in CO2, which is a little ironic given the place's obsession with freshly roasted beans. Usually for brewed coffee coffee beans require 3—5 days rest and espresso 10—14. I haven't had good experience making black dog coffee in my brewer with anything less than 16 … – show
