Oceano Buffet At Montego Bay

Bruce was an excellent dealer who showed great patience with newcomers. We truly appreciated his support as we were just starting out. He was very professional, especially considering we were new players. He helped us learn the game, and even though we lost a bit, at least we gained a better understanding of how to play! Thank you, Bruce!

Our room was fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the beds were very comfortable. The casino had a bright and airy atmosphere with a wide variety of gaming options. We dined at just one of the restaurants, which offered a great selection, and the staff there were excellent.

My review focuses on the casino and restaurant, as I did not stay at the hotel. This casino is one of the more modern and updated options on the Wendover strip. They offer a good-sized buffet and full bar service, and I found everything, including the restrooms, to be spotless. However, I was quite bothered by the cigarette smoke, which forced me to retreat to a corner by a slot machine. LOL! During the time my friend and I were there, I didn't see anyone win, which seems to be the norm in most casinos, unless you happen to be the lucky one that day. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a nice place to stroll around, enjoy dinner, and try your luck at a few games, this is a worthwhile stop.

Well my last review from 2012 sums it up. Still enjoy this property the most and is newly remodeled and looks great. My aunt had a wonderful Jacuzzi tub mini suite overlooking the pool. My son didn't want to leave. Lol. The pool is very nice and roomy but I wonder how many locals they let localize it? We got frozen margaritas by the pool so they have a bar which is nice. Also the fitness equipment is great and they have showers too. We ate at the buffet and I was quite surprised how fresh the shrimp was in the ceviche. Delicious and nobody got sick! Yay. My omelette in the morning was tasty too. The casino is fun to gamble but don't have a lot of table games that I like. Always crowded but somehow the ventilation is good even with the smoking ugh. Animal friendly too my little Yorkie came in the casino no questions asked. This would b my choice to stay and eat in wendover.

We're not gamblers, but came to the casino to celebrate an accomplishment. Booked a room with a hot tub and brought some champagne. The room was clean, and the hotel overall seemed to be very well kept up. The bed was comfortable enough, the bathroom spacious, and overall it was a really nice experience. We went down to the casino to use the free drink coupon they had given us on check in, and the bartender suggested that if we played the nickel slots there, he'd just comp us drinks. What a guy! Staff was all very nice and friendly. I'd definitely recommend the place just don't go on a week night, because all the restaurants are closed for some reason.
