Lam And May Chinese - West Wyalong

I have been ordering from this restaurant for many years. Although there have been instances in the past where my orders were incorrect, I let those go without complaint. However, during my most recent visit, an order of shrimp chips was mistakenly replaced with a prawn cocktail. When I asked for a refund for the item I didn't order ($9.50), they refused and instead wanted to charge me $4 for the prawn chips. I don’t believe that a well-regarded cocktail is meant to be shared among five people, which is why I placed the order in the first place. They claimed to have repeated my order back to me, but that wasn't the case. It seems that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority for this restaurant. I have always recommended this place to visitors, but I will no longer do so. It’s really disappointing that they showed no interest in keeping a long-term customer happy.

Excellent takeaway Chinese food. Wod not hesitate to return.

The restaurant was closed for vacation, but the pub across the street offers excellent Thai food.

Worst dining experience ever!!! We ordered 1 fried rice, but for some reason the waitress wrote 2 so we had to reject 1 when the food arrived. The owner/chef went out to tell us we couldn’t cancel it because we ordered it and it was already cooked. We told her that we didn’t order it, but she was adamant and insisted that we did in a very rude manner, where other diners were looking at us and the commotion. I honestly lost my appetite after that. Food was ok, but the owner/chef’s attitude is the worst!!!!!!!!!
