Donkey's Place Downtown

There are some significant weaknesses in the experience (primarily in winter), but when your fellow diners use terms like best ever for elements of the meal, does eating in your car matter?The sandwiches are very, very good. The meat is great (the focus of the best ever comment). We went for 1 with whiz and one with American, and on both I 'd argue there was just too much cheese. The whiz was over the top for me. The American was fantastic.One suggestion: in this area, you should be offering Cooper Sharp as a cheese option....but I digress....The onion rings were great too.All in all...well worth the trip to Mt. Holly.Parking: Tons of parking.

First timer. American with and side of fries. Sandwich was tasty and juicy. Fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. I'll definitely be back.

I love it it’s my favorite chicken cheesesteak on poppyseed round bun. The chicken is thick pieces, not minced.Kid-friendliness: You eat outside

It’s been years but Donkey’s is still solid. First time at this location. Plenty of parking. Outdoor dining only.

This place restored my faith in getting flavorful cheese steak and fries. Plus great music. Thank you. Great ???
