The best bagels! My partner and I stopped here for lunch today. I had the corn chowder, and we shared some delicious pommes frites while he enjoyed a Reuben sandwich. Everything was tasty, and the presentation was stunning. Their Sunday breakfast buffet is fantastic, offering a wide variety of food, including an omelette bar. Matt managed the omelette bar when we visited on Sunday, and he does an excellent job with the omelets. He’s also a really nice guy. I had a chat with co-owner Carl today; he and the other co-owner, Stephen, work every day of the week. Their hard work has truly paid off, and I think they deserve at least one day off every week. By the way, I must mention that the bistro has some of the best bagels around!
This was my first visit, and I found the place to be very clean. They have a nice selection of baked breakfast items as well as desserts like cupcakes and bars on display. The coffee was excellent, which always adds to the overall experience. We tried the steak bomb omelet, a country sandwich, and a zimtrolle, which was warmed up and tasted incredibly fresh. The prices were reasonable, and both the food and service were excellent. I would definitely come back again.
We had a lovely time at the restaurant. The service was excellent and overall, the food was quite tasty. We appreciated the unlimited coffee refills, and the coffee was just right. They offered half and half instead of cream, which was a nice touch. The prices were reasonable; our bill came to around $60 for two people, each ordering two dishes (eggs, waffles, French toast). However, my eggs were a bit undercooked. Additionally, everything else was well-prepared and flavorful.
