Amato's - Westbrook

I love the sand that is probably my favorite in Maine, they have an amazing variety of chips, sodas and desserts. Like any restaurant they are a little underused (but they are setting), so the service can be slow.

This place has disappointed me again. They had to make my sand three times to make it right. The communication between the employees is at best terrible, and as far as the employees listen to the customers well, they had to make my sandwich 3 times, that should say everything. After reading all complaints, the owners should enter and do something about the bad administration of this place.

The last three times I visited this place I ordered wrong. Staff ensure that you repeat your order, but never seem to build the sandwiches properly. Always do not give salt, pepper or oil, and only Mayo and usually get Mayo as an oil! The Mayo is usually soupy and the sandwich is soggy it?s drop. Very disappointed.

Excellent Italian sandwiches. Thanks for being open on the day of work and providing perfect service. I wasn't in Amato's in awhile and was happy with the inviting, clean entrance as well as managers/servers who were great!

Worst Italian sub! Who puts olives and green peppers on an Italian? No onions, barely any meat and cheese asked for xtra hots, got a few banana peppers, soggy roll. Probably won?t go back
