Famous Dave's -b-que - Westbury

Food was great! We had bbq chicken dark meat, ribs and sides.Place looks a little dated, bathrooms need some cosmetic surgery badly otherwise would give 5 stars.

When i arrived there was no hostess to seat us. Then someone came took our order before we were seated. Then when we were finally seated I got my food first and my friend waited an extra 20 minutes for the same dish I got. My food arrived cold and when I told the waitress she got an attiude with me. Then she took my food and brought it back warmed up. Never coming back here again.

The service was great. The cornbread and bbq chicken were good, but most of the food is loaded with sodium. No one could finish the rib tips or the brisket. That is why my last visit was 4 years ago. I see nothing has changed. With so many people trying to eat healthier, maybe Famous Dave's should take a look at their seasoning. Update. Nothing has changed. 8 months later, ribs is riddled with salt. ,

Food and drinks are always great! So far it's one of my favorite bbq spots to go to! Been so long...still so yummy!

Wish they would take your order at the table. They bring you the menu than you have to go up to the register to pay. Than you have to go up and get your drinks and bring them back to the table. I had the St. Louis ribs with dry rub they were excellent.
