Steve's Piccola Bussola Westbury

Great wine, delicious combo salad, tender veal Osso bucco, authentic Italian cheesecake, and a wonderful cup of espresso paired with a decaf cappuccino. A meal to remember. Thank you Steve and all those who made it happen.

Online reservations weren’t recognized but they did say that they would seat us. Very crowded, no social distancing. Almost no one, other than staff, was wearing a mask. It’s usually one of my favorite places but was very uncomfortable and also felt very rushed. Food though was excellent as usual.

Our waiter was nice, very relaxed and you could tell he’s been there for a long time. It’s been a very long time since we’ve been back here. Unfortunately We were all so disappointed. There was only one dish that I liked. The Chopped salad was so bitter, and it wasn’t from the radicchio, It tasted old. They were nice enough to to remove it from the bill. But again I was looking forward to a nice salad and dinner and I couldn’t eat it. I hate complaining when I’m out to dinner so we didn’t say anything about the other dishes. I actually went home hungry. It has such high ratings, I thought the food would be better. My martini had the smallest Olives I’ve ever seen and just thrown in the drink. We had to wait a while For the round of drinks. Just not what we were expecting!! Will not be going back
