Luis' Plaice - Westcliff-on-Sea

It is under new management now and eating taste amazing, the place looks clean and well maintained. the new owners take the business really seriously and make it a successful business against its competitors in the environment. I have spoken to the new owners and they have a wonderful insight into how to make it more successful as soon as it becomes popular. it requires support of the community to visit the place and get its wins so they can announce new special menus they have in mine. Although, the specialties they have at the moment, like freshly fed chicken and pork, freshly peeled and cooked to order fish, I think is one of the best selling points of this fishable and restaurant. I recommend this place, it even has vegetarian options, so no one can be omitted.

Good fish and chips, the kids meals are good for a 11-13 Yr old

Been a regular customer for about 6 months. Really nice food really nice staff. Best fish and chips in Southend and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Now under new managment, the the place is spotlessly clean, the fish is cooked whilst you wait, so it is beautifully fresh, and mouth watering, the chicken is cooked on the spit roast and is beautiful and juicy. The chips are cooked fresh so not left standing getting cold. The staff are amazing, welcoming and you can have a laugh. The restaurant is all clean and repainted, looks lovely and fresh with plenty of light. To be honest, when the last owner was there, the food and the shop went down hill, now under new management, i wouldn't go anywhere eles. They are always looking to make the place better by introducing new foods such as spare ribs and vegetarian foods. I give this shop 5 stars for the hard work they are doing to make that a great chip shop, just go try the food yourself, i bet you will be very happy. Well done guys, you have done wonders.

We enjoyed a truly delicious freshly roasted fish. It was a massive portion for just £6.90. Thank you!
