De See Kat - Western Cape

1/10. My husband and I fell terribly ill from the sushi and had to cut our trip short. Overpriced and basic. I saw a review from 10 months ago where a couple fell ill from the sushi and don’t understand why nothing has been done to fix this??

The Patagonian squid starter was AMAAAZING! So was the mussel starter. The coconut milk used in it, is unique and beautiful tasting. Seared salmon main was good as well. Very friendly staff, food served timeously. Would definitely recommend

Such a lovely place. Tranquil area of Paternoster. Service was quick, friendly and lots of laughs. Had the Oysters. (Those you know me. Always have Oysters). And Sushi. All was awesome. Let’s not forget bottle of wine. Diemersdal Sauvignon Blanc. (Man that was long). Fun place great area.

The catch of the day was Galjoen, very nicely done…excellent service, beautiful serene scenery....absolutely worth it.

Pretty pricey but pretty nice!! Amazing food with amazing views. We were very lucky to get a seat so call ahead to reserve a table. But it’s definitely a place I’d mark on my map to come back to.
