Hopside Down - Western Cape

This is hands down our favourite place in Hermanus. From Cocktails to Beer to Pizza’s to Burger’s- you can’t go wrong! Definitely a must visit!! Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere.

Neopolitan-style pizza (the original pizza), with its crunchy, yet chewy crust (my favorite part) is relatively unknown in South Africa and its rare finding a restaurant that sticks to the authentic method and ingredients. Hopside Down delivers a generous and good version. Very well priced drinks and there are other food options for the carb concious.

Fantastic family restaurant. Brilliant pizza and I loved my calamari salad.

Wednesday night Burger night special with craft beers! So reasonable, great food, beers and service.

We were here a year ago and absolutely loved it! Amazing food and beer and the owners were so friendly. We can't wait to visit again when we are back in Hermanus.
