La Vista Lodge - Western Cape

Nice view for 200 USD a night BUT Highway N2 right next to the hotel. Should have checked the map before. However, that’s a real downside. Also load shedding for 6 hours during our stay. No alternative power available, also WiFi did not work. In addition staff starts at 7:00 am being quite noisy laughing and chatting. La Vista indeed — absolutely incredible views over Plettenberg Bay! Big rooms with a huge bathroom that included a great shower with two heads, a rarity in South Africa for us. Great staff too — we were warmly greeted by a gentleman, I believe his names was Amos, who was happy to help with everything from luggage to drinks to a fantastic dinner spot recommendation. Great spot.

We arrived last minute without a reservation. The receptionist was very accommodating and found us a room. The room was impeccably clean and tidy. This is the view at our excellent breakfast.

The whole place was beautifully maintained and the views were stunning! The staff was friendly and accommodating.

A very beautiful guesthouse has taken the honeymoon suite, a beautiful painter, a wonderful service, and the clean is excellent.
