Onyx - Westlake Village

Fantastic sashimi. Maybe the best I've had States-side! Our waitress was lovely although I wasn't always convinced she understood what we said. But all the food came as ordered and it was delectable. Of all that we had, the scallops were my favorite. Thank you!

Food was very good. Service was good but pacing was off. Main course was delivered about 3 minutes after the appetizer was. Would have been nice to wait until we were finished (or close to finished). Also plate got whisked away before we were ready. Otherwise very friendly

Went there with another couple for New Year 's Eve. The 4 course pre-fix menu was good with 2 or 3 choices per course. Presentation and flavors were good. Drinks were pretty expensive and may have had 'new year 's eve ' prices. Service and staff were all friendly. We had free New Year 's Eve gear on our table (hats, noisemakers, streamers) which was nice. Also included a complimentary glass of champagne. Would have been 5 stars but it was a little pricey for what you got in my opinion.

I took my boyfriend here last night for his birthday dinner. While the food was outstanding we told them we were in a rush and the food took forever and on top of it when I ordered came out a full 15 minute before what the birthday boy ordered. Embarrassing... Food was really outstanding though

One of our favorites restaurants. Food was delicious. Service was a little slow, but polite and overall had a great evening.
