Love love love this place. Couldn't find anything wrong with the food. You have to order the sisig ( crispy pork belly) and garlic rice! Had 4 dishes shared among 3 of us and each of us paid 30 bucks roughly. Too bad they didn't have the ube cake when I visited this place. Would definitely come back!
First look at the restaurant bland decor and staff service, I was skeptical about the rating. We chose the Feed Me option, which saved us from the menu. After we put food in our mouth, we all thumbs up. It was not authentic Filipino dishes we looked for, but the modern fusion did create a hearty meal for Canberra winter.
Canberra always has a special place in our heart. Australia's capital city that is halfway between Melbourne and Sydney and have grown rapidly in the last 20 years we live in Australia. Since Canberra center refurb, we are findings lots and lots more food place in ACT. However this place is not anywhere near there but worth every minute driving to. After eating there (not knowing Phillipines food before), you might get confused if this is a German, Greek or Thai food. Their sizzling sisig (?) , crispy pork hock and bico express are cooked beautifully. Much leaner when compared to normal roast pork but still juicy inside. The garlic rice is somewhere between Chinese yang zhou fried rice and hainan rice. Tasty and very rich. Another must visit place when you are in ACT. Food : 4.5 Service : 5 - attentive crew and does not upsell Ambience : 4.5
Great food and service. The Halo-Halo was great but the Pad Thai is to die for. Ask for it off the menu. Also ask for Napoleones. Some people will say that the food is a bit over cooked but I think that it's cooked just right. 5 stars.
