Long Branch Cafe Saloon - Weston

Stopped by while dinner after a hiking adventure in the Blue Mountains Oregon and it was ok.. had a French dip and the meat was tough with gristle running through it.. I was only able to eat half of it..

The food was outstanding. The gal who helped us was rude and made sure we knew she had worked the busy Father's day weekend and was tired. She seemed ok with the regulars, but made us feel as though we were an imposition. When we went to pay with a card she snarled it was cash only, although we saw no posting of such a thing. Granted, she was also working the bar, but should have closed the restaurant part so she could work one side. Won't ever drive out there at the chance we might get her again.

Just like home cooking only better...I didn't have to cook it!

Went Mother's day for breakfast. Historic building in Weston, OR. Very busy, staff a little overwhelmed but doing there best. Good food, large menu, reasonable prices. Be aware it is cash only (no CC but there is a ATM in the Saloon). Good portions. Wife and I split a Chicken fried steak, hash browns, eggs and basket. You won't go away hungry. Recommended restaurant.

The food was good but the waitress wasn't nice at all !!! I don't recommend going because of the waitress. We were a party of 6.
