I had a reservation for two for a birthday breakfast confirmed by Open Table for Saturday 7 March at 10a. Imagine the embarrassment when we arrived to find the CLOSED restaurant! No lights, no host, no servers. I called the restaurant later the day to find out what had happened and was said, 'That happens all the time; we have changed our hours, but you can still have a table on the website '. I asked for the General Manager and was told to him (Abel) that it would be later and call me back. It was 4 days and I was not contacted. This is a real shame since we first visited last month (9:30a reservations and the restaurant was OPEN) and had a really great experience. I told several friends of PrimeTime after the last visit, but you can be sure that I call them and tell them not to go.
Had reservations for Valentine's Day and when we got there, it was a line around the corner, which led to us 15 minutes too late. When we reached the podium to check in the lady, was very overwhelmed / fluent and asked a few times for the reservation name, because she focused on other things like sittings. I found my name on the paper reservation sheet and she called a hostess to put us. Once sitting, it took approx. 15 minutes to come for someone give us water and asked for our drink order. We asked if they had a wine cocktail menu and the young lady said: "oh myyyyyyyy, she didn't give you a drink menu, I'll get one for you all" and went so fast that I couldn't just tell her what I wanted. 7 minutes later she brings the wine cocktail menu and says she has another table and she becomes RIGHT BACK, which was ANOTHER 5 minutes. Without saying 30 minutes, we had a bottle of wine to accompany the water. Like dinner hmmmm....we ordered the Calamari, which was EXTREMELY salty and could not eat. Then there were reels bought on the table w/ Butter, but the reels lubricated as if they came out of the freezer. For an Italian restaurant I found it strange. Then for dinner I ordered the ribeye and potatoes and my date had the Miso salmon. The ribeye had no taste at all, but the mushrooms that accompanied it were THE BEST. Not sure how they looked the mushrooms so well with spices, but not the steak. The potatoes were very stiff and dry. The fog salmon was very humid and good, but the Broccolini was tasteless. For dessert we had the cream brûlée and it was good. Total stay was about 2.25 hours for all thinking You are not that we will return even if I am a 10% discount voucher from Yelp since I am an ELITE Yelper.
Staff are warm and friendly. Food is very good. Awesome dining experience. Appetizers, drinks and main course were all well made and delicious. Our server was 5 stars.
