Aloha Alabama - Westport

Aloha Alabama BBQ was unluckily out of Hawaiian BBW when we visited late, 30 mins past their closing time. We ordered their other popular chicken dish Garlic chicken. The chicken was not warm enough. We didn't like the sweet taste of baked beans. The mac and cheese, and Corn muffin were really good. I should visit again when they have Hawaiian BBQ in stock. Too many folks recommend it!

: Enjoyed going here. Food: Stopped in on the way out of town. I got the spicy tuna poke bowl. The tuna was fresh, the rice was warm, the slaw was crisp and crunchy. I could have used a bit more spice though. Service: You order at the counter, get a number and they bring your food to your table. The sever at the counter was friendly and eager to help. Food was brought out quickly with a smile. Vibe: Updated interior with a dog-friendly patio out back. Has a view of the street and docks.

Got the BBQ combo pulled pork and garlic chicken with Mac salad and rice. The sides are nothing special but the meat is where it’s at! The best pulled pork I’ve ever had! So tender and smoky but not overwhelming smoke. Amazing!!! The garlic chicken. Was equally tender and full of garlic flavor but not hot garlic where you taste it the rest of the day. Well balanced. Staff was very friendly. They also had a fridge of prepackaged meats, taco kit, egg rolls, and sides. Will definitely come back.

We got the Piggeybacker burger and the Hawaiin BBQ Chicken. Both were great and the staff was great! Aloha Alabama is a win.

We don't go to Westport much, but everytime we do, we eat here. I had the poke and it was fresh and delicious as usual. Hubby had the pulled pork platter. It was fantastic. I mean, it was f a n t a s t I c!! I wanted to order one for myself on top of the poke. And the price was exceptionally reasonable for the big serving we got. Perhaps it's time to visit Westport just to eat here.
