La Plage - Westport

Latin plage continues to improve and became one of our favorite restaurants in the west port. Of course, they can't beat the situation with view of long island sound. our evening dinners of Scottish salmon, scallops and a plentiful lobster roll were presented beautifully and also deliciously. the service was very good. the attention that the staff gives them from the time they go, until the time they leave is excellent. the entrées are expensive — they are unlikely to leave (after appetizers, drinks, dinners and desserts) for less than $100 per person - but it is worth it. the noise level in the enclosed terrace area (at colder months or with weather break) is unlikely high, so it is difficult to conduct a conversation on normal decibeleben when the dining room is full.

La plage has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in westport. we have always loved the location and this has led us to its predecessors. but we love what the new format has done through decor, ambiente, menu, kitchen and service.

We had a nice lunch in a beautiful environment. we needed space and time to meet each other, and our waiter gave us that, but was still very attentive. the food presentation was beautiful and it tasted all delicious! I would definitely go back.

Food is great! Service is great, views are great, I think the only thing I would say is to make a larger drink

Steak was overcooked. Ordered medium-rare temperature and the steak came fully done. The chef grilled another steak and it came rare. How come the chef does not know how to check the proper temperature?
