Village Bagels - Westport

The food here is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I've been a loyal customer for many years, and I absolutely love this place. It's only fitting that I leave a five-star review!

This review is addressed to the owner. Today, I entered your restaurant and ordered a simple sandwich. The staff member kept repeating what I requested but changed the order each time. I repeated my order three times, yet it was altered every time. I mentioned that it was too early for this confusion. When I clarified again, he responded with something completely different from what I ordered, and I decided to leave. His joking around caused you to lose a potential regular customer. I don’t appreciate being joked with repeatedly during an order.

It's the only breakfast spot open early, which is a plus. However, they really need more staff; the line is always long, and they never answer the phone for pickup orders.

I order a blended frap off their menu. A man walked over to me and told me he was not a Starbucks and I couldn't order that. I responded sir I was just ordering off your menu that is clearly stated right behind you. He responds I don't know how to makethat, but a cappuccino is the same thing. I responded sir it's not the same thing. I went to their establishment because i dontlike starbucks. I will not be returning. It's not that he didn't know how to make one, it was how I was talked to was theproblem.

My Daughter moved and begged me to send Her a dozen Everything Flagels (flat bagels) from here! I got a few for myself and they're delicious! Definitely NY Style!
