Creole Lunch Box - Westwego

We went there and were told that restaurant had been closed for five months. Not sure if it's reopening in the future.

Great hospitality and the crawfish boil is cheap and fresh $3.99/lb). The Cajun seasoning was spicy perfect a nice heat but addictive. Really chill spot, outside of a bar blaring good oldies. Definitely a nice mom and pops spot. The Mona Lisa Bar inside has bomb swamp fries and one of the better spots for a shrimp po boy!

Probably one of the best meals we've had on this trip and we've had a few. Friendly locals bar with the Lunchbox inside. If they have the crawfish bisque get it. Over rice with crawfish and stuffed crawfish heads. We also had the fried shrimp and two local iced coffees. Happened upon their Easter egg hunt and enjoyed some hunting with the other patrons. Perfect for a lunch after the swamp boat trip.

Food is SUPER good! Love the wings, quesadillas, burger????
