La Casa De Maria Mexican Food

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is incredible, I would say it's the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is made from scratch by Maria and her family. When this place is open, you have to give it a try. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your food, but trust me, it's worth it. Make sure to ask for Maria's hot sauce, it will change your life.

Best Mexican food we have had in Canada...and maybe in Mexico too. Margaritas are perfect too. If you can get the carrot cake it is to die for. Shame this place is closed for the winter. It's been our weekend stop.

So although the setting is a bit sketchy. It's a bit weird driving into a driveway set back from the highway don't let that bother you. The food was great. They make an awesome tequila sunset and Pina coloda. The portions were gigantic. We had ponchos, burritos, and tortas. Chicken was not dry. Burritos were not soggy. Everyone said their food was good. Service was pleasant. Definitely recommend eating outside. Kind of smells inside. Hours are limited so be sure to check and they are closed in winter.
