Mamma Lucia - WEXFORD

We tried the thick and thin pizza. Both were excellent! The crust was really good. The garlic knots were also excellent. Sauce for knots was a little sharp for me, but still good, hubby loved it. We'll go there more from now on!

The best disc in the Pittsburgh area, and it is honestly not even close. Crispy crust, high quality tomato sauce, and large mozzarella cheese (one of these mozzarella / provolone blend stuffing). It is also produced in an actual pizza oven instead of a conveyor that is surprisingly unusual for WPA.

We absolutely adore Mama Lucia. When we relocated from New York to Wexford, we had trouble finding a decent pizza until we discovered this gem. Our children always feel right at home here. The employees are consistently warm and welcoming. Whenever we are in the area visiting Pennsylvania, we never miss the chance to stop by for a pizza and greet everyone there!

While it may not be the most authentic version of pizza, Sealion Pizza in Pittsburgh has become one of my all-time favorite spots, both in the city and globally. Reminiscing about my youth in Pittsburgh and visiting the old Northway Mall, the gooey, chewy crust and flavorful sauce at Sealion Pizza brought back great memories. It was a wonderful experience dining here after many years.

The pizzas at this restaurant are delicious, especially the Sicilian with pepperoni and their large round with pepperoni.
