Great food and friendly service as always. Shalims is one of our favourite places to eat. They always make you feel as if they are genuinely happy to see you and the food is marvellous, one day I hope to get their recipe for the Gunpowder Chicken!

Food was good but was very small portions so we were shocked with the price of the meal and left feeling a little cheated out of money for the amount of food we actually had. No draught beer so my husband was given 2 bottles of cobra which were £6.60 each. Service was good though.

This is a fantastic, authentic India restaurant to visit. The food is exceptional and the service is fantastic. One of the best curry houses me and my wife have visited.

Unfortunately I booked a table for 7pm on a Friday evening, not realising the restaurant would be completely full. Service was very quick, we finished the main course, the plates were cleared and we were looking forward to dessert and coffee. I guess they must have had people waiting for our table because instead of being asked if we would like anything else, we were immediately presented with the bill. When I say immediately I mean less than a minute after the plates were cleared. To say we felt a little rushed is an understatement, so we finished our drinks and left
