Fig Cafe - Whakatane

Visiting from Auckland and tried this for brunch before heading home. Well, great staff. Friendly and attentive and then we tried the food. One of the best big brekkies in awhile. Hot, tasty, and the most perfect poached eggs. Will most definitely return when we visit next. Been a small business owner and chef myself this is a well deserved 5 stars. Cheers guys!

Popped in before heading back to Auckland and man this place is awesome. Super busy Sunday morning but super friendly staff, good coffee, lovely breakfast and probably the best cheese scone I’ve ever had. This will be my Cafe whenever I’m in Whakatane

We live in Wellington where we have the best cafes in NZ therefore it takes a lot to impress us. We have take a road trip up the east coast of the island and have failed to find a great cafe.....Until now! Brilliant to see streaky bacon an home made hollandaise sauce. And the staff are all very hard working and lovely people. A

Beautiful food,service,staff. I recommend the kickstart omelete if your feeling hungry as its very filling and huge. Nice place to relax with a coffee and slice. Awesome lila taylor .

Friendly and professional staff, a relatively short wait for food, and the kai was delicious! I would absolutely recommend Cafe4u as a great place to go for a yummy feed. I'll definitely be going back ... soon.
