Monsoon - Whataroa

Had a lovely meal. Fell fine today. Couldn’t have the chips as shared frier but rest was lovely. Great friendly staff.

Our family of four dined and had no problems. 3 had burgers and one had the lamb shanks. Offered gf bread toasted in the oven instead of buns and mashed potatoes w gf gravy instead of fries. GF marked on menu. They offer pizza but I’m not sure where it’s cooked. They were busy so it took a long time but worth the wait. Staff was very nice. We would return.

Staff were knowledgeable and provided a quick service. I had a gluten free margherita pizza which had such a soft base. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was kind and polite, however the service was lackluster and the food was not properly marked on the menu. At first, I ordered the nachos, as they were listed as being gluten free, however I soon came to understand that they had changed the physical food item without making that clear on the menu. I then ordered the beef filet and it took over an hour to come. I had ordered it medium, but instead it was presented as being raw. The quality of this restaurant is just sad.
