Chili's Grill - Wheaton

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. The service is always prompt, and the food is consistently delicious and affordable. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they regularly have new promotions and deals to help you save money or create great combinations. The menu options are truly impressive. Overall, this place is fantastic!

My family and I visited the restaurant for dinner and were seated promptly upon arrival. Our order was taken shortly after we settled in, and our food and drinks arrived without delay. Everyone in our group enjoyed the appetizers and main courses. One downside was that the server returned a while after our food was served to check on us, but aside from that, we had a great time. This location is a solid choice for a family night out.

This type of restaurant seems to have declined recently, and this particular location is no exception. Only about half of the restaurant was open, and we had to wait approximately 30 minutes for a table for six, despite many empty tables in the other half on a Saturday night! The staff was decent, but not exceptional. The food was good, the drinks were great, and both offered good value. If you're a couple looking for an affordable date night, Chili's still delivers on that front.

This location is in a constant struggle for a good meal and reputable service, cook, and management team. My medium steak was sent back TWICE and it still came back this rare. I asked the server for the manager and she said, All she can do is take the item off your bill, but wouldn 't send the manager over. Which made me wonder if they were running without a manager late on a Saturday night. They finally made me a new steak but fully expected me to eat my cold potatoes and broccoli from my first plate. They literally brought out a new steak on a tiny saucer plate. Sadly, every time we go we are always very unsatisfied. We say we 'll never go back, but enjoy their menu items and give them a chance to try to redeem themselves.

This location went downhill FAST! We came in on a Tuesday around 5pm. The food took forever and when it arrived everything was burnt and dry. I figured it was just a bad day. The manager came and comped my food that I didn’t touch, also- what happened to the portions? Came back that Saturday as my daughter wanted a burger and same thing… horrible. Waiter brought out our drinks, never brought our chips until we asked (20min later)(and from experience I know servers have access to the chips- they don’t come from the back) at the 50min mark i asked about our burgers… when they came out they were stale and dry from basically sitting under the heat lamps. They were inedible. When I mentioned it to my server he could care less. We paid and left to go to elsewhere. Not going to attempt a third try. If you want one of the LAST STANDING AMAZING CHILI’S- GO TO OSWEGO! They are fantastic and truly how the company used to be.
