Feedback gevenWe tried a variety of appetizers and entrees at this restaurant. The Dal Ka Shorba, a pureed lentil soup, was very brothy and would be great with roti bread for a light lunch. The owners mentioned that their nan bread contains milk, but the roti is dairy-free. The vegetable samosa was delicious, but I didn't inquire about the shared fryer so I may not order it again. The Gobi Manchurian, breaded and fried cauliflower, was good but tasted somewhat like chicken, I'm not sure if it was just my imagination. The Vegetable Biryani, seasoned veggie rice, was very good and a generous portion. Our favorite dish was the Aloo Gobi, potatoes and cauliflower cooked with tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and herbs, a colorful and flavorful dish served with white rice. I will definitely order the Aloo Gobi and Roti Bread again. The owners were friendly, but I would recommend asking more questions about food preparation to ensure no cross-contamination for certain dishes. Overall, a great Indian food option for vegans in the far western suburbs.
