Let me just start by saying that really love cousins. Nothing goes better with a sub than some hot cheese curds. It's almost a delicacy in my book. Thus, I am happy that a Cousins has been put in closer to me. I already been to this location a couple times, and, I'd say its ok. The workers are nice for the most part, and they do a good job making the sandwiches. Last time I was in they were apparently out of cheese curds, which I'd usually frown at, but the lady made sure to clarify with me that she made my sandwich the way I wanted it and that made up for it. It was scrumptious. The soda machine also had a few issues, as the root beer and diet Coker dispensers only gave out soda water without syrup. Probably only temporary problems. Anyway, Cousins is amazing.
No one was at the counter had to wait for an employee while the manager was on the phone. Out of roast beef. Must be I'm a container from China right? Kidding aside on the last sentence. Had a language barrier issue w the employee so instead of walking away w the b1g1 i ended up with one. Yah I'll pass on this location
Years ago I discovered Cousins at the state fair in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and enjoyed it very much. Back then there were a few in IL and I'm sure I went to them a time or two. Fast forward to now and the sandwich was such a disappointment. The bread was stale, maybe three or four days old, and the veggies were brown. We actually drove several miles in rush hour just to pick up the sandwiches. I won't be making that mistake again.
The place is literally never open, not a good way to run a new business in town.
