The homemade vanilla syrup is absolutely delicious - I often order an espresso drink that uses it as a base. There are plenty of cozy seating options, including chairs in the garden. I recently spent a relaxing afternoon there.
I am only giving this restaurant 3 stars because their cup of coffee is expensive, as well as Whistler.
My wife purchased a French striped top from this restaurant, which she absolutely loved. I ordered two lattes, which unfortunately did not impress me. She returned the next day to buy a beautiful cardigan. We also bought a pound of coffee. We enjoyed sitting in the comfortable chairs while waiting for our orders.
As a gift shop its super sweet and quirky, but I don't think I'm going back for the cafe experience. I found it super expensive and unfortunately my latte was served cold and a little tasted. It doesn't seem like they want to sit and hang people because there are only 2 tables and they don't have Wi-Fi. It could be possible if they change a bit to offer a few more seats and since the Barristas have more practice, but for now it is not worth the price.
This spot was recommended as a good coffee place and we discovered that it sells a lot more than coffee! It is a funky boutique with housewares, books and clothing. We enjoyed browsing while awaiting our coffee. We had hoped to also get a sandwich...for the road but didn’t see much food other than a few muffins.
