Wings with a thick layer of fat under the skin, no interchangeable... schnapps (afteros???) and overall a great disappointment. The live music was good, but the food is so expensive and really unusable. The next time a non-tail restaurant will take place in the village.
Every year since 2008, we have made it a tradition to ski to Dusty’s for a late lunch during our two-week annual trip to Whistler. The food has always been excellent, abundant, and absolutely delicious… almost too good to believe. We have often joked that we were unable to ski after indulging in a meal at Dusty’s! We have enthusiastically recommended Dusty's to all of our friends who visit Whistler for the first time, and we always rave about it when sharing stories about our trips. However, this year was a disappointment. After a particularly terrible experience at Creekside, we were looking forward to enjoying a wonderful lunch at Dusty’s. Our usual favorite, the pulled pork sandwich with potato wedges, was a letdown. The portion size of the pulled pork was significantly smaller, the meat was tough, the wedges were overcooked, and the overall flavor profile was not the same as before. We have noticed a decline in standards at mountain restaurants over the past two years, with smaller portions and higher prices becoming the norm. It is truly unfortunate that even one of the top venues in Whistler is unable to deliver delicious food. The staff also seemed disinterested and lacking the warmth and hospitality that we had previously experienced. Sadly, we will not be returning to Dusty’s on this trip and may not make the effort to do so next year. It is a disappointment for sure.
We stayed in Creekside and wanted an apres ski place to go to. The main places in Whistler village is always crazy so we opted for Dusty’s for convenience. The main floor space is open and have long picnic table type beer haus seating....Very busy and we had to wait in line for about 15 mins. Good burgers, poutine, beers, all simple fare stuff. The staff were friendly and efficient and handled a large number of people. They had live music later but we decided to go elsewhere.
We had a great pulled pork bun and chilli bowl here, I think the menu is a bit reduced compared to previous visits, but I'm assuming that's due to COVID. Still definitely worth a visit though!
Staff here are great! Stopped here for lunch. Guy that showed us to the table was really friendly and then waitress was great. Caesar salad was fine chicken is breaded and fried FYI which is not what I was expecting, but hey I’ll ski...some more and burn the extra calories!
