Hy's Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar

I had been to Hy's before, but it's been a few years. Great bartenders, wonderful wait staff and epic food. I got the New York Strip, which was excellent. It was very flavorful and oh so tender. They do table side service for some items, (the Caesar Salad and Bananas Foster). I will certainly return on my next trip to Whistler.

Fantastic meal as usual at Hy's. I see comments about pricing being high. Yes, its true but I see this same issue with all high end restaurants in Whistler. The meal and service were what I call memorable and for us...its worth it.

The steak dinner was one of the best I have had in years. Service was great and they didn't hover over the table, checked on you but gave you lots of time to enjoy your meal without being bothered. The way the tables were arranged each party had some privacy while still being open to the view and not being hidden the dark. I will go back next time we are here in Whistler/Blackcomb.

Fantastic food, we had cheese toast as the starter that we loved, steak Diane was wonderful, and key lime pie was amazing with the light whip cream on top. We had a wonderful host that gave us very good recommendations.

Came here due to recommendation we had when we dined in Gotham. So came to Hy's and loved it. They prepare many dishes for you at the table and the fish, sides, and steaks are amazing. Ambience is great and classy. Hostesses was great, welcoming, and took our coats as well as give us our coat while on way out. Overall a must come.
