Bangrak - Whitby

Pad Thai was pretty bland. Green curry was watery. I’m not looking for a thick sauce but this was similar to a thin coconut green soup. The beef slices in the curry were so dry and tough. The only other item in the green curry was bamboo shoots. Shrimp chips were decent. unfortunately it wasn’t very delicious.

Soooo good! Lots of veggie options. Everything was super fresh and had so much flavour. Tom Yum soup, green curry, mixed veggies and spring rolls were all perfect.

Just average if not below. Street thai pad were too sweet and too much hint of fish sauce. Chicken wonton were way too oily but tasted not bad. Red curry had an after taste of something weird but once again wasn’t bad overall. Customer service needs tremendous improvement. There was one person running the show (cashier, hostess, server). No suggestions on what’s good or how hot a dish would be. Definitely not coming back.

We decided to try a new Thai spot and I wasn’t super impressed. The green curry was pretty good but I found the pad Thai really bland. There was not much flavor at all. I would try another dish but definitely wouldn’t be ordering the pad Thai again.

My sister and I came here on a whim and we are so glad we did! The food was so flavourful and high quality. I got the Pad See Ew and my sister got the Pad Thai and we got a side of coconut rice and peanut sauce. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly and they accommodated gluten free easily. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and we were served quickly by the owner (who was very kind). This place is a new go to for sure!
