Chicago Sub Express - Whitby

My sohn recently moved to whitby, so based on the reviews we thought we were trying chicago deli to dinner before the game Saturday. they have not disappointed! great staff, very friendly and very efficient as we were in a bit hurry. concerning eating, we ordered two sandwiches and spaghetti with meatballs. the food was fresh and tasteful, and none of us could finish our meal, so that they definitely worth their money. I'll be back as there's so much on the menu I want to try!

Was driving through town and randomly stopped here on our trek back from PEI to Windsor, as we were hungry. Friendly staff and amazing meatball sub. I wish we had this place in Windsor as a good homemade sandwich place is hard to come by these days. Money well spent.

Home made meatballs for subs, and even Lasagne like your mom made! Great spot, Mike is an absolute pleasure to deal with and the food is fantastic. The quality of the ingredients in this place is unmatched.You can even order an entire Lasagne for take out, (huge chunks of meat in it.) Highly recommend this spot.

Once again I don't usually review local places but when one stands out I don't mind passing it on. Not much can be said about a Sub Sandwich, but this place is an exception. Subs are made from deli meats, the owner displays the brand of meat, brand of cheeses and cuts everything in store. The bread is fresh and delicious, the numerous sauces and fresh toppings -lettuce, tomato, pickles and the usual sort is complimented by fresh dill and other fresh herbs. Truly a good old fashioned sandwich place that I promise will fill you up.

I did go in to get a sub. I did leave with one, and some penne in a take out container for later. The Penne was really good. I saw other noodle dishes, including lasagna that I would like to order. and pizza slices. Also, they serve Kawartha dairy ice cream!
