Panera - Whitby

First visit. Great staff and good food. Great salads and liked the selection options for lunch - salad and sandwiches. Will go there again.

They have a smaller but varied menu. The pasta is always a hit. As a parent I like that one of the side options is an apple instead of the customary sugar or salt filled chooses. The prices range but is good value. I won't not say it is ideal for someone on a budget, but is great for someone who enjoys great quality food in a clean and friendly environment.

Have drove by Panera restaurants many times but never went in...glad we tried it...amazing sandwiches, salads and pastries. A bit pricey I guess for sandwiches but real turkey, avocadoes, etc (turkey avocado melt was awesome)...well, everything was tasty and very clean and felt like you were almost dining...i.e. not like your typical fast food sub shop.The staff here were excellent...helpful and patient considering this was our first time at a Paneras they were great.Highly recommend.

For the longest time I had no interest into visiting Panera Bread. Who wants to visit a place that sold different varieties of bread. You can get that anywhere. Yesterday I happened to be walking by and noticed that there were tables and chairs and a menu board. This didn't look like a bakery. I went inside and was pleasantly surprised. I figured while I'm here I might as well try some things that I wouldn't normally try. I had the green passion fruit smoothie which was made with avocado pineapple and something else just as disgusting. WRONG this was actually SO VERY delicious. This was a pleasant surprise. I also had 2 1/2 of different sandwiches. The first was avocado blt. I'm not a huge fan of avocado and was surprised to see a huge hunk of it on my sandwich. BUT again the rest of the ingredients rather complimented the avocado and made it edible. Apparently these things are healthy for you and the fact that they made it appealing enough for my palate was no easy feat but they did it :). The other half was the chicken and swiss with a chipotle seasoning? This was suggested to be by the young last that worked there. She said that a lot of people really enjoyed this one. You can add me to that list. a nice little touch was the little machine thing that they have you put on the table. It allows them to bring your order to you. Never be afraid to try something new and never judge a store by it's name. check things out :) I will be returning and bringing my family with me next time.

A very filling sour dough ( I think) bread bowl with broccoli and cheese soup. The baked potato soup, meh. Very decent people working there. I got a little butter too (like I really needed it!) A great cookie at half price. A nice clean friendly place. The sodas were top notch (diet pepsi as good as it gets). A very filling meal with chips in a bag to go with the meal. A good alternative to the same old burger and fries.
