Docks Fish And Chips - White Rock

A good place for Fish and chips.. duh! . The Halibut fish and side of crunchy chips are lip-smacking. The fish gives you the crunch in each bite with a perfectly cooked fish within with good seasoning . Though the place needs to liven up. It feels too quaint as compared to its competitors. Service is fine. Nice place if you enjoy the quiet on the beach front.

We purchased pieces of cod fish and chips and found them to be quite thin(about inch) and the texture not to be like cod. The batter was quite oily. The price was average but we did not feel that it was good value.

We came for lunch and were there about hours. They must have forgotten our order as they originally brought us someone else’s and then tables that arrived after us were served. We had to approach the kitchen and ask as the waitress was...not coming by. Cod and chips was okay, the burger was a bit pricey for a preformed frozen patty. We could see into the kitchen and saw a couple things that looked questionable in the food handling department. Nothing special, I would not recommend, there are other places on the beach much better than this.
