Willaby's Cafe - White Stone

Can't beat the view, but it's just average seafood diner fare. Might have been better back in the day, seems to be resting on reputation a bit.

If you can, schedule a meal at sunset! This local find is decorated with quirky items. the booths are pews from churches. The food was good, however they were out of meatloaf....

On vacation in the area and waited up front for anyone to speak to us to be seated for 15+ minutes, which was understandable as they were busy and we weren’t in a rush. When we finally were greeted we were told they had no idea how long the wait would be for a party of 6. As we moved to the side to the side to decide what to do the party behind us (of 8) were told they would only have a 20 minute wait. We felt it was incompetent at best and intolerance/discrimination at worst.

Food was average and over priced. No one in our group finished their meal. Atmosphere was fun, but I doubt we will return.

Great view of the river and bridge. There’s also a small beach. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and hush puppies- $12 and took less than 10 minutes. Parking: There’s a gravel parking lot. Plenty of parking for lunch but might be an issue for dinner or if there’s a band. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a long ramp to the entrance
